Generally speaking, the guys in the vintage videos are just plain sexier than most of the performers in recent years. They were somehow more masculine and appealing back in the day. Many of today's young men don't have that adventurous attitude -- they're uptight and controlled. One sign of that is the ridiculous shaving trend that makes young men appear more feminine and less appealing.

the original (and best) YMAC movies date back to the early '80s. they were shot on super 8 film and had a fantastic homemade quality to them. it looked as if one of the performers filmed his buddies having sex. According to IMDB, "jacks are better" and "hot, high and horny" were both produced in 1983. "camp ymac" was released only four years later in 1987, but it almost seems like it was produced by a different studio.
My uncle showed me these when I like around 14. And they were kinda old then. But they produced and directed by Larry Bronco. Good porn vids.. there's also, "Getting Steven", "Boys on Film." Really hot vids. The one he liked most was, "Hot High and Horny. " I think those were like in the late 80's early 90's.. but it was like 03 when he showed em to me.. some really diverse, cute guys..
"camp ymac" is missing a lot of the elements that make the best ymac movies so great. the guys in this one are slightly older and thicker than the usual ymac performers. it's a little odd that most of them are sporting the same 'Beatle wig" haircut, too. someone in charge clearly had a "type". i prefer variety. this is a later title shot on video, not on film like the earlier ymac classics. the earlier flicks had an amateur home movie quality that i find more engaging and fun. it's not a bad movie, it just doesn't look or feel like a genuine ymac production.
