This story is set in the 1980s in full dictatorship in chile and the script is based on a short story by Pedro Lemebel, who was famous gay writer who never hide his sexuality and always fought against the military regime for the rights of the LGBT and the democracy. These searches and seizures depicted in the film were frequent in the poorest neighborhoods in which the military sought to opponents of the regime to stop them and even kill them.
