Rubax Video - Kept Boy (2017)
This film is an adaptation of Robert Rodi's popular 1996 book KEPT BOY, updated a bit, with a fine cast and the result is a well-timed gender variation love story that plays quite well. KEPT BOY addresses many issues in the gay community but the universality of this story is that it happens to women, too. The film mixes humor, lust, relationships, ageism and dreams with a fine dose of polish. The reviews of Robert Rodi's 1996 book suggest it was written as a comedy of manners, but the film takes a less light-hearted reading than the rom-com poster implies.
