Absolute and utter shit, the foreskin is there for a reason, it protects and lubricates the head of the penis which is why almost all male mammals have one it serves a purpose. additionally, with 20,000 nerve endings, the foreskin is also the most sensitive part of the penis and when removed also removes the protection and lubrication for the glans. The trend in the US for routine circumcision started because it was thought that it reduced the desire to masturbate, it is puritan and repressive and the US is the only country in the Western world that still does it routinely.
Let's call it what it really is, child abuse, genital mutilation and as it is done without the consent of the child it is an assault leading to permanent disfigurement.
