the anal scenes are fully simulated, except for a few oral ones, but also very short to be realistic...the cinematic shots make them more realistic. The main value is that the actors play very naturally and sincerely. That's a big plus for any movie.
My favorite gay themed movie. This is how all gay themed mainstream movies should be made, Not porn, but not simulated sex. And the actors aren't ugly either. Most nonsimulated gay movies, I mean with a good story and plot have the ugliest actors like they went no further than skid row to find them. I wish they would make more movies like this.
