When I was younger, some mornings I’d wake up so hard it almost hurt. My dad used to wake me up in the morning for school. One morning, he walked in while I was banging away. He backed out quick, said ‘sorry’, and left. That night when I came home, he had installed a lock on my door, and handed me an alarm clock, said I was old enough to get myself up for school.
