Let’s be clear. The number one reason teen boys demand a laptop of their own is NOT to do school work. It’s to have access to porn. In this day of the high cost of dating, let alone Covid keeping them locked up, teem boys need a lot of relief. Like, daily! Dads are usually the first to cave on the laptop request because THEY KNOW whet’s really going on. They were there themselves not to long ago. Apple is not selling all those AirMacs to write English papers. So give your kid a break, parents. Get him that laptop. You’ll see his eyes light up like a Christmas tree. And it’s not for geometry!
