Truly one of the most nerve-tingling yet engrossing psychological thrilling films I have ever seen. In contrast to what Jean said I noticed a few sexual undertones including the scene in the Rec. room when Jonah is sitting beside Richard and starts to whisper into his ear and smiles at him in a predatory manner. There is also a tidbit of romance in the scene where they wake up facing each other. It may not be a 100% gay-themed tale yet it speaks volumes in regards to struggling with mental health issues and the internal demons we all wrestle with while striving to hold onto our own humanity. Both lead actors have a chemistry on screen that envelops you in from their characters very first interaction. I highly recommend it and am eager to see "The Boys in the Trees" very soon.
