Emanations
The remarkable photography of Edmund Teske (1911-96). Wrestled with his sexual identity (who doesn't) and later met the gay English author, Christopher Isherwood who led him to Vedantic Hindu philosophy. In his overlapping of multiple images he sought to convey what he called 'universal essences'. Whatever, his art/photography is moving and evocative.
