June 6th is the 70th anniversary of the D-day assault on the Normandy coast by Allied forces.  While concise numbers are difficult to verify, many historians estimate that the Allies suffered 10,000 casualties with 4,414 confirmed dead, and Germany suffered 4,000 to 9,000 casualties. Might we remember and thank those who sacrificed in the defense of Democracy.

I just wanted to post some videos but every time I try I get an error from the website and it says: it has been rejected. I just want to know what to do or if it has to do with the format of the video as I tried AVI DivX MPEG4, AVI Microsoft MPEG4v2, AVI compatible XVID, MPG1 and MPG2. I tried to reach a bunch of blog posts but I got nothing.

Yes, if you got up early. you might join the rowdy apprentices and what we now call "twinks" when they mobbed Boston, New York, and Philadelphia to protest the occupying British and Hessian troops. 

And you'd find it easy to persuade them male favors to dispense in return for silver pence.  

I don't actually know if apprentices hustled, but as a group they answered only to their own. and since they had very little   mpney you can be sure that they hustled a lot.  It just couldn't be written down!

Seriously. It's been more than 2 WEEKS. I uploaded 3 videos. And have heard NOTHING. Not published. Not rejected. I'm not angry. I'm confused. How long does review take here? Maybe this is normal. It takes a week on Motherless for non-Premium members to get their videos reviewed (I'm a Premium member; takes less than 8 hours). The pics I uploaded were approved almost immediately. I have many more videos I'd like to share, as well as pics. But I won't bother till I get an answer to this question. Thanks.

So,today I witnessed an elderly lady get her purse snatched. It happened so fast. She didn't give up though, she chased him and he dropped it after all of us shoppers got out of our vehicles to try and help. I mean, who steals from the elderly? If that wasnt enough, I also found out that a classmate of mine passed on today. She was only 21 and had fought so many battles in her life for so long, it sucks so bad. And because of this stupid cold weather my knee feels as if someone is drilling into it. So I guess I could call today a bad day. My spirits are broken, Im tired of seeing death everywhere I look, my classmates are too young to be dying so soon. Everything just sucks right now. Tommorrow will bring a new day, so I guess I will turn in early at least.

I have been pretty busy of late, busy doing things that i will remember for the rest of my life. This last year everything has been coming to a point of change in my life. It started when i came here first .. and later came out, after confronting my past and the problems that come with that and trying to manage the PTSD that followed, I have started along a new path. I will no longer hide from my past and avoid it, i am not afraid to go forward and be who i am now. For a long time I have been waiting for something to happen, and opportunity maybe or another direction. Recently I heard that a couple of people I was close to in another country have since died and only young too.. i know life is too short, but its also what we do with the time that matters. I know that fortune favours the brave, and i have to make my chances by going out there and being proactive. I am the one I was waitng for it seems, I am the one who will make that opportunity, and see the new path to take. I have been to two interviews this week to be able to do something that many tens of thousands of people will see and enjoy and was succesful in both, i have another next week and am also now one of the finalists in a prestigious art competition, I started my counceling and i am doing new classes and meeting new people too. The point is, i went out and gave it a go, even though i am so shy and feeling so bad about myself most of the time, and i stopped waiting for the change to come to me and just started doing something... and stopped waiting for me. Maybe you are the one you've been waiting for? maybe you are the one the world is waiting for!
