European Soccer Championship - New Young Talents
The European Soccer Championship in Germany began on June 14th. Some young talents are in the spotlight.
Pictured here are the Germans Jamal Musiala (21 Years) and Florian Wirtz (21 Years), who both scored in the opening match against Scotland.

Team Spain: Nico Williams (Athletic Bilbao, now 22 years old)Â Â
Nico Williams celebrated his 22nd birthday two days ago. But he gave himself the best birthday present. In today's final against England, he scored the 1-0 lead for Spain at the beginning of the second half. In the end, Team Spain won 2-1 and is therefore European champion. Nico Williams was named best player of the game after the final.

Team England: Cole Palmer (Chelsea FC, 22 years old)Â Â Â Â Â Â
Cole Palmer came on as a substitute in the final against Spain and scored the equaliser for the English team. In the end, however, Team Spain won 2-1.

Team Germany: Kai Havertz (FC Arsenal, 25 years old) and Jamal Musiala (FC Bayern München, 21 years old)
Spectators in Dortmund experienced a turbulent evening at the round of 16 match between Germany and Denmark. During the first half, the game had to be interrupted due to a thunderstorm with heavy rain. However, the fans of both teams did not let this spoil their good mood and danced in the rain. After the restart, Kai Havertz scored a penalty to give Germany the lead in the second half. A little later, Jamal Musiala decided the game with a 2-0 goal.

Team England: Jude Bellingham (Real Madrid, 21 years old)
For a long time, the round of 16 match between England and Slovakia looked like it would be a sensation. It was not until the sixth minute of stoppage time that Jude Bellingham equalised for the English with a fantastic overhead kick. In stoppage time, the experienced Harry Kane (30 years old) scored the winning goal for Team England.

For the first time at this European Championship, Kobbie Mainoo played in the round of 16 against the Slovakian team.

Substitute Randal Kolo Muani took a shot in the 85th minute of the round of 16 match against Belgium, which Vertonghen unfortunately deflected into his own goal. It was the decisive goal in the 1-0 victory for the French.

Team Slovenia: Benjamin Sesko (RB Leipzig, 21 years old)Â Â
Shortly before the end of extra time, Benjamin Sesko missed a great chance against Team Portugal. The Portuguese then won the penalty shootout and Sesko and Team Slovenia said goodbye to the European Championship.

Arda Güler also played a key role in the success of the round of 16 match against Team Austria. He took the two corner kicks that led to the goals for Team Turkey.
