OH the art of story telling. One of Johann Christoph Friedrich von Schiller's - or short, Friedrich Schiller's poems "Das Lied von der Glocke" ("Song of the bell") could be condensed into "Loch in Erde, Bronze drin - Glocke fertig, bim bim bim." Kinda does tell the story, but isn't much of a read. The proper version however, has 2071 words and sure is a bit of a read. Take a lesson.
