Out of curiosity, I checked the incest laws in the U.S..  In most places, it is illegal for close family blood relatives to have sex which each other.  On further checking, it appears to be very rare.

From what little I've read and know, here's what I think.

Most common: father-daughter sex.  Primarily in polygamous cults where the father will actually marry the daughter.

Less common: sibling sex and I would guess most of that is between brothers.  Frankly, I think most gay men and boys would prefer that the age difference not be as great as it is for a father and son.  (I do wonder how common sex between a teen boy and his young uncle is though.)

Least common: mother-son sex, although there have been reported cases.

I could easily watch real Father and Son, If just out of curiosity, to see how the dynamics of their relationship worked.... But i could never have been involved in father and Son myself.   

At 17 I became a father. To even think about having sex with your own child is one of the most disturbing things a person could do.

As to my own opinion, if I were the son and were gay and sexually active and my father wasn't too much older (say 20-25 years) and he was interested, plus he was a stud, I probably would.  It would also depend greatly on the kind of relationship we had.

I wrote a story, "Cherry Breeding Festival", which at first included father-son sex but I took that out because it detracted from the basic story, but someday I probably will write a father-son sex story.
