I've always been a heavy metal fan. I grew up in the 1970's when metal was just being created. It's cool to introduce some young guys to say Black Sabbath. Asked if they like Ozzy Osbourne, they say yeah. "what's your favorite track that he does?" They come back with "Crazy Train", or something else from the 80's or 90's. I pull out Master of Reality or their self-titled first album Black Sabbath. They'll sit there, head banging to the music. I can remember buying that album and hearing "Iron Man" for the very first time thinking as I'm listening to it that this song will be a hit.
For the younger guys here, I have no idea who these guys/bands are, so I can't comment on your posts, except to say thanks for sharing.
