there are many reasons vids, pics and blogs don't load properly I guess. It's a free site so I guess we just have to wait for the owners to move on these issues. The several upgrades haven't done us any favours lol! In the mean time the site has lots to offer, just be patient.

@Bimini - thanks for your comment, point taken. I have often tried loading videos/photos and realize there is a technical problem, lots of people complain about it, and overworked Nick18 is doing his best. Although to be honest I'm indifferent to porn, I'm here for the social network side of GBT. So when I said 'put into' the site, or contribute, I was talking in terms of making friends, which is what Boxcar200 was complaining about. For that you need to post on people's walls, comment on blogs, generally socialize, chat etc, and as @Davey1965 says, that takes effort.

@Sneed - the GBT 'help desk', for want of a better word, is @Nick18, so send him a pm but be patient, he gets thousands of messages a day. Or you could ask guys around the site, for example @Davey1965 posted a really helpful blog about uploading photos recently, or you could speak to Ads @owls11, he's very knowledgeable. Just be aware that it's an ongoing issue, Nck is doing his best to resolve it and there are big updates coming in September/October ... hope that helps.

Actually Dennis he joined 678 days ago ... I think that's plenty of time to make at least 1 friend .. I mean, how long did it take you and I to get chatting? And we still haven't come to blows ... at least, not yet lol ...

I am having a little trouble navigating. Is there a 'help desk'? I dont want to make a thread and clutter the board just for a question. I have been here for years but wanted to get more involved. I was wondering if it was ok to make a channel of my account and archive some of my favorites here, even if they might be duplicates. Moreso, I was wondering what the file requirements are. I didn't see any thing listed. Plus, I was a little disheartened and confused by the terms that seem to imply I can't upload anything I don't own. I am not even sure what that means. I am not a studio, so I dont know what to think. ¶ Anyways, if anyone has a help link, I appreciate it. Thank you and be blessed. :3

Sorry I would disagree with Isidore to some degree. You do NOT get back what you put into this site, (you should attempt to load some content onto this site in my opinion before making that comment). And emails even from Nick for un replied when there are issues, or if questions are asked. I'll bet I have loaded well over 500 movies onto this site (in full compliance with the rules) and I have 100 that made it?? What a BIG waste of time that was. So in my view you do not get back what you put into it...Far from it. I realize it's free and I appreciate this site for the content (that actually gets posted)..but there are many like it. It seems that certain people are allowed to post whatever they want and many many others are quite restricted. And I would agree with the posters comments of this blog in many ways. I finally just gave up trying to download content out of pure frustration, and lack of responses.

Good comments Christopher . Its a shame when guys just wonder why people dont write because this site can offer so much if your willing to get involved and put in some ground work first . If yr next to a phone for example... be the guy that dials and not the guy that waits and waits for a call.

Completely agree with @TheBurrhead (thanks Brillo, you're a star) - it isn't a crap site at all, quite the opposite, and you get out of it what you put into it. It's not enough to give people your email address (in any case is it wise to immediately give personal contact details to every total stranger who asks you? That sounds like desperation, and desperation is a turn-off for most people) and just sit back and wait for the offers of friendship and sex to pour in. It simply won't happen. You need to get around the site, post friendly/amusing messages on people's walls, join in discussions on the various blogs, maybe make your page more informative, interesting and welcoming, that way you'll get to make some friends. I've only been on the site for 2 months, but I've met lots of lovely guys with whom I'm in regular contact. And @grangeol is right too - this is the internet, the majority of people just come here for porn, it's only a small (but constantly growing) number of us who get involved in the social network side of GBT - and we enjoy it. So why not contribute a bit, it might pay dividends ... but be patient.

Welcome to the internet Boxcar!! Yes, you will receive a lot of friend requests, and after you accept them, you never hear from them again. That just seems to be the way it works around here. However, you can meet people here who will correspond with you and who might become friends with. It is just that the percentage in that category is very small. Patience is a virtue in all endeavors.
