Not sure about other countries - and I am sure Davey1965 will confirm this - but in NZ it is customary amongst gay men to hug and peck on the cheek if you bump into a gay friend or acquaintance you haven't seen for a while.

it depends on how you feel about your friend, it is just a show of affection on developing a longing friendship, so I disagree with it leads to something else, that thought is only in the eyes of the beholder

I have never kissed a pancake..or poured syrup on a friend...I have buttered up a few people...scotty//kissing is important in a romantic relationship...its nice with friends too..i send one for your cheek...mmuah....

Pancakes?! Hell yes! I love food. If someone made me breakfast, I'd be all over them. Anyway, kissing is whatever you make of it. You can kiss a lover, but you can kiss a friend.
