I just wanted to thank my friends here for the kind words and posts regarding the death of our cat Spot. I realize not everyone is a pet person. But, he was part of my life for over 16 years, and we had bonded with one another. I will miss him, but I will have the memories of all those years to remind me of the good times.

But more importantly to me, is the way this community chooses to support each other no matter what happens in another members life. It is one of the reasons I am still here. Because I know I am part of a caring community of people. So I thank you all for what you do to make this that community.

Sorry for your loss. I know how you feel. I lost my 19 year old cat two years ago.

Thomas I too wish to express my deepest sympathy, I have lost my best friend a border collie named Trixie. I had her for almost 12 years which is a long time for a big dog. She was always there for me with unconditional love and support. I know the loss you feel, I wish I could hug you but alas the internet does not allow for such (yet) so all I can say my friend is I understand and know that the pain will diminish with time but the memories never will.

Thomas I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your beloved pet. I know what that feels like having lost 3 in the past 5 years. the last one was my faithful kitty named Brownie. So, I feel your pain and can only tell you that it gets better with time. Until then, hugs to help you feel better.

Im a big Cat lover and am sorry that Puss has gone.Ive lost at least 6 Cats over the
years and as we, know they all have there own special personality and its hard, for a while
after there gone.The Memories are the best part and their never forgotten.
